Why our farm?
Net Zero Goals
Sustainability is why we are here.
We run small herds in rotation to improve our grasslands and not compact soils. Kelp is supplemented for methane reduction. Native trees are planted for shade and shelter. Mouths not machinery remove fuels for fire mitigation. And we choose carbon neutral shipping whenever possible.
Humanely Raised
Golden Rule but for wool and feather folk.
Quality animal products, whether wool or meat, come from proper care, nutrition, having room to roam, regular grooming, and being looked after throughout the day. From dawn to dusk, all farm duties are performed by us, on-site, to ensure the 5 Freedoms of Animal Welfare are met.
Zero Waste
Because good things shouldn't last forever.
We take greenwaste from local businesses, and turned it into little golden treasures. Yes, eggs! We do our best to minimize waste on the farm. Sheep's waste hay is used as nesting material, soil cover, or poultry feed. Everything made or packaged by us is plastic-free, multipurpose, and biodegradable.
